Plaska Lodge is a family and locally owned business with over 30 years of experience. We have 10,000 acres of intensely managed land at your disposal. 2000 acres of fenced and 8000 open range. Our ranch is located 80 miles southeast of Amarillo, near Memphis, Texas; and only 4.5 hours from the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
The terrain is as diverse as the animals we have – from deep canyons and cedar breaks to thick, brushy, rolling hills in the bottom land. Cottonwood lined creeks and prickly pear flats provide a sanctuary for wild game. The rich red clay soil and mineral deposits near the river, combined with high-protein food plots grow massive antlers and body weights, unmatched by other parts of the world. There is a variety of game, extensively fed and managed. Our guided Whitetail hunts are world-class. Our ranch is also blessed with a healthy Dessert Mule Deer population. Enjoy chasing gigantic wild boar or a variety of exotic animals. When you scour the area on public or state-owned property, the herd is not typically maintained. That is not the case with our property. We manage our ranch extensively. On our ranch, we ensure that all of the needs of the animals are met in order to grow mature, healthy animals that will make a fine trophy. In addition, we keep a close eye on the herd to keep them from declining in numbers. This will ensure that every trip to Plaska Lodge will yield the greatest trophy Whitetail deer or exotic trophy animals.

When you are with a professional guide, you will have all of the advice necessary to make your excursion top-notch. This could include everything from where and when to be out in the land to the weaponry that you take with you in the field.
